Why do men abandon their kids and their mothers?

In every country around the world, some males tend to abandon their kids and their mothers. Some leave their females as they are pregnant and never take responsibilities. Some decide to take care of the children which their fathers abandoned due to love they have on the females. 


So the question is, what really causes this and what can be done to avoid this?

    I think the pregnancy is always unplanned. You may love someone but it does not mean as far as having a baby with them. A baby is lifetime thing that scares people because they are scared of commitment. I really think people should use contraceptions and be willing to acknowledge that whoever they have sex sith is a possible mother to their child

      Okay, I agree with you. People must use contraceptives to avoid unplanned pregnancy and if pregnancy appears they must take responsibilities for actions.

    I believe man have a bad tendency of involving kids in their fights with Baby mamas, hence they end up abandoning their kinds...a bad habit indeed
